CAME Women and Girls Development Organisation is one of the BAME women’s group working with multicultural community groups in Ealing. We have an unparalleled reach to all parts of our community, including so- called hard to reach communities, with over 500 clients.
We, together with our partner Neighborly Care Southall have experience of working across the borough providing services for older people and disadvantaged adults with complex needs, frail elderly and people with dementia. Within that client base we offer daily services – support , skills training, respite, befriending support – to large numbers of carers integrated with our wide range of services.
Similar support is offered to people with dementia and their carers extending their independence and ability to live at home. The majority of our clients are people with mild to moderate mental health conditions – with whom we have achieved great success in managing and improving their conditions.
Our health and wellbeing programmes are extensive and delivered daily both from our central location and from satellite mini hubs across the area – they include Health Promotion Talks, Health Walks, Exercise groups and balance classes, Mens Health Groups, Womens Health Groups, Health Monitoring Checks and Personal Health Plans, Addressing Health Inequalities via English Language teaching, Smoking Cessation Groups, Peer Group Hospital Support group.
